Tic Tap Toe

A drop of clear
Glistens, and escapes the pored steel;
Rests on the finger edge,
Hesitatingly.
Unsure, cowardly.
But joined by a droplet new,
The show off then gets his cue;
And a journey begins.

I hope it is 'clear'...It's beautiful! :)

Does clear imply tear?
Aww
:(
You mean the person crying is a show off? :\
Well. :|
Nice poem though :)

Oh darn, I thought I'd drafted this! o_O

Prerna : No, not tear.I'm bad at writing depressing poems, and anyway, I wouldn't have tried one.Not now, anyway.Clear being water. :)

SporadicBlogger : Clear it is! Thanks :)

Disha : No, not a person crying! The clue was in the name - Tic Tap Toe, and well, the pored steel. :P Its a drop of water falling from the tap.And well, show off because the drop waits for getting, um, a girlfriend [lol] before embarking into the world. [Think water flowing] Y'know...See I got a gal, now gloat! :P

the rest was clear though :-)
and nice blog!!!

Um, that's a water droplet. :)
You can take it as a tear if you want to think of the eye as a futuristic steel covered gadget-y thing though. :P

But I did miss the critic. Especially when I got ungrounded, didn't have tuition, and could come to CP :( :P
